SEND (Special Educational Needs)
Children with Special Educational Needs or Disabilities (SEND) who require extra support with their learning will be identified and given a SEND Support Plan (SSP), to enable them to be given specific targeted support.
This may include intervention from external agencies such as the:
- Learning Support Service
- Behaviour Support Service
- Psychological Service
- Speech and Language Service
- Local Authority
Parents of SEND children will be contacted by the class teacher and SENCo (Special Educational Needs Co-Ordinator) on a regular basis to update progress and review termly SEND Support Plans (SSP).
