Hello to all our parents and children,

During the Prime Minister’s announcement yesterday, he set out a possible plan that might see specific primary school year groups return to school from June 1st – this included Reception, Year 1 and Year 6.

At this moment in time, schools have been given no further information, other than what the PM shared in his speech.

We hope that in the next few weeks, further information is shared with school in order for us to plan; and we in turn will share this with you.  As yet, we have had no guidance with regards to social distancing, PPE and many other aspects parents have enquired about in order for us to make provision as safe as possible.

Any information we receive will be uploaded onto our website and social media pages.  We will also text you with any updates too.

As soon as we are provided with any further information we will let you know.

In the meantime, continue to stay safe and well.

God Bless,

Mrs Apolloni and the staff of St Thomas More’s.

VE Day – 75th Anniversary Celebrations

7th May 2020LEANNE MOSS
As we prepare to celebrate VE Day this Friday and thank God for all the brave heroes and heroines who gave their lives for our freedom 75 years ago, let us not forget all the brave soldiers that continue to sacrifice their lives today, fighting the war against coronavirus.
We thank all heroes around the world,  both past and present, from  the bottom of our hearts!
We hope that just as people united to celebrate and dance in the streets 75 years ago  to mark the end of WW2,  we will soon be able to unite together with our loved ones and dance to celebrate the end of lock down.
Let us have your thoughts.
What are you looking forward to doing when lock down finishes?

A message from Mrs Apolloni

24th April 2020LEANNE MOSS

Dear Parents, Carers and Children,

On behalf of our teachers and staff, continued thanks, praise and gratitude for your hard work over the past 4 weeks – YOU ARE AMAZING! 😀
📢 It has been wonderful to see the hard work being completed by the children at home and in  Google Classroom.  Thank you for celebrating this with us through your Facebook and Twitter posts – keep them coming!

We are very impressed too with the hard work that has been completed by the children  beyond the classroom – painting fences, gardening, learning to bake and sew  and most importantly, remembering to clap every Thursday for our wonderful NHS and key workers. 💙
🕒 School is over for the week soon, so make sure you enjoy the weekend and the beautiful sunshine. 😎  We love and miss you lots, but know that in order for us all to stay safe and well,  we need to be apart for a little  longer.
Keep shining 💥 and continuing to ” Live as God Calls you.”
All our love and prayers,
Mrs Apolloni and the staff of St Thomas More  xx

EYFS have had a fabulous day. We have been making perfumes and potions and our ice cream shop was open for business. The children enjoyed taking orders and serving ice creams to their friends. 🍦 We even had our lunch outside in the sunshine. ☀️ ... See MoreSee Less
