Year 4 Weekly Round-Up! 🌟

What a fantastic week we have had in Year 4! 📚✨ In Maths, we have been developing our understanding of numbers up to 10,000, while in English we have been learning all about different types of nouns and verbs. In RE, we explored the story of Abram and his covenant with God, thinking about what promises and trust mean. ✝️ We have also begun our exciting new History topic on the Anglo-Saxons, and in Geography we have started learning all about rivers and how they are formed. 🌊

Today was a particularly special day as we had the wonderful opportunity to join a live stream with Julia Donaldson! 📖✨ The children loved listening to her talk about her brand-new book, Gruffalo Granny, and even had the chance to learn how to draw the Gruffalo themselves! 🐾🎨 It was a fantastic experience and a brilliant way to finish our week!

📸 A little reminder: Please remember to complete your child’s consent on Arbor so that we are able to share photographs of them on Facebook and Dojo. Thank you for your support! 💛

We’re really excited to be taking the children along for some festive pantomime fun! 🎅🎶

The letter sent home contains all the details about tickets and the trip, so please have a look if you haven’t already.

❓ If you have any questions, please contact Holly at school, who will be happy to help.

We can’t wait for a little bit of “Oh yes we can!” this Christmas! 🎭✨🤥
